Course Overview
The shift to remote and hybrid working requires a more fluid approach to performance management which moves beyond the static annual goal-setting to more regular conversations about objectives and performance.
Managers should encourage dialogue and openness to create engagement around, and track progress against, measurable goals, as well as identify strengths and development areas.
Our interactive, two-hour training courses get straight to the heart of a topic and provide actionable steps to implement the key learning points.
Courses are delivered in-company by our subject experts either face-to-face or virtually.
Participants learn how to use a performance management approach to optimise individual and team performance. They will learn how to set, monitor and review stretching targets and provide regular and candid feedback to the people they manage.
Participants on performance management will be able to
- Set SMART objectives and keep team members on track to achieve them
- Identify suitable measures for monitoring progress
- Give candid feedback and secure commitment to any change required
- Prepare and conduct a positive end of review period meeting
- Use Performance Management as a development tool
