A BiteSize Manage Development Programme

Thinking as a Manager

This course helps managers understand the roles and responsibilities of a manager. It is suitable for new or aspiring managers. Participants begin to develop their management persona and establish a solid grounding for decision making, team development, and management communication.

 

Leadership Styles

Effective leaders are able to identify the level of direction, support or freedom that each of their team members needs in any given situation. The most successful leaders learn to adapt their style to the situation to secure commitment and maximise team performance. This module uses the SLII®, model to achieve greater results.

 

Inspirational Leadership

Participants will learn how to use high-level communication for maximum impact. They will be given techniques to engage others, draw contributions, provide clarity to their communication and establish their leadership credibility.

 

Giving and Receiving Feedback

Participants learn about the objectives and benefits of honest feedback. They will be given tools, techniques and a common language to help them to give and receive constructive feedback – both praise and criticism.

 

Motivating Others

Participants will be able to understand what motivates their team members and how to align individual needs with business needs. They will receive practical tools and tips to help them motivate others to produce great results.

Managing Remote and Hybrid Workers

This highly participative course provides strategies, tips, and techniques designed to overcome the challenges and enhance the benefits of remote working.

FAQ

Can I book a single course?

Each course is modular and stand-alone. We often work with clients to design a sequence of short learning interventions over a specific timeframe. 

Do you provide course materials?

Every course we prepare for has clearly defined objectives and key learning points, all summarised in a course outline. We provide a set of guidance notes with each course, free of charge. We offer additional materials to complement and embed learning through our learning hub. 

How are courses delivered?

Our courses run for 120 minutes and are delivered face-to-face or online using Zoom (or a platform of your choice). Courses are designed for a minimum of five to fifteen participants for optimal interaction.    

Do you only offer bite-size courses?

We can customise a course or design bespoke content.  For a deeper dive into the subject matter, or to provide additional support for employees, we offer a range of coaching options that can be integrated with our courses.
