Turning Learning into Action

blog_3We have long believed that the goal of learning is not knowledge but action.  It is always good to hear of the impact of our training, so I would like to thank Lee, who I bumped into in his reception two days after our training programme, for enthusiastically inviting me up to his office so he could show me how he and his team had used the Urgency and Importance Grid to prioritise all their projects... Yes, he too was shocked by how much time his team were spending on things that were neither unrgent nor important! (See all the post-its in the bottom, left hand box). Consequently, they have completely overhauled their work plan. We love to hear stories like this, it's what makes training matter.
